Every kid that has ever picked up a baseball or bat has dreamed of being a Big Leaguer. It takes hard work, dedication, an unwavering passion and talent to achieve this goal. Talent alone is not enough. Performance Academy is committed to providing our athletes with the facility, technology, training and motivation to assist them in reaching the highest level possible. We also want to provide them with the recognition that they deserve for years and years of hard work. Colson Thompson

Colson is a 2022 graduate of Clarkdale High School in Meridian, MS. Colson held a starting position in the outfield for the Bulldogs from the 9th grade. This 2-time All State Outfielder and State All-Star Team member help lead the Bulldogs to the South State Championship his Junior and Senior year. Colson is currently a Senior outfield player for University of West Alabama.

Walker Swearingen

Walker is a 2022 graduate of Clarkdale High School in Meridian, MS. Walker was the 2nd Baseman for the Bulldogs for three years and was named as an All State Pitcher his Senior year. Walker is currently a Sophomore pitcher at East Mississippi Community College.

Rawson (Ross) Polizzi

Ross is a 2022 graduate of Lamar School in Meridian, MS. Ross was a 4-Sport athlete for the Raiders playing Football, Basketball, Golf and Baseball. He led the Raider Baseball program in almost all of the offensive categories finishing his Senior year with a .360 batting average, 6 HR’s and 36 RBI’s. He is currently a Senior infielder at Blue Mountain University

Trace Roy

Trace is a 2023 graduate of Enterprise High School in Clarke County, MS. This 2-time All State Catcher and All-Star selection led the Bulldogs in batting average and RBI’s his Senior year. He is currently a Junior catcher at Blue Mountain College.

Cooper Galyean

Cooper is a 2023 graduate of Enterprise High School in Clarke County, MS. After recovering from an injury to his throwing arm as a Junior, Cooper returned to help the Bulldogs to finish 1st in their District and a 3rd round appearance in the MHSAA 3A State playoffs. Cooper is currently a Sophomore pitcher at Meridian Community College.

Brett Busbea

Brett is a 2023 graduate of West Lauderdale High School in Collinsville, MS. Brett was a member of the 2021 4A State Championship team and led West Lauderdale to a Runner-up finish in 2023. Brett was a 2-time All State infielder for the Knights and finished his high school career as District Player of the year and an All Star Selection. Brett is currently a Sophomore infielder at Meridian Community College

Cal Culpepper

Cal is a 2023 graduate of Clarkdale High School in Meridian, MS. As a multi-sport athlete he contributed to the success of his school’s football, basketball and soccer programs throughout his career. However, baseball was where he made the largest impact. He saw significant starting time as an 8th grader and only grew from there. He helped lead the Bulldogs to 3 consecutive South State appearances. Some of his honors include; 3x All State Team, 4x All District Team, 3A State All Star and numerous others. Cal is currently a Sophomore pitcher at Pearl River Community College.
